This campground is the pits. Sites are close, people are Rude. Wal-Mart is better and 1,000 times friendlier. Stayed there twice and will NEVER be back.
Perfect for large Motor Homes and other self contained units. There are no bath rooms or amenities other than Ice and wood. Its right on the ocean (a very short walk) and the river. The scenery is beautiful. The sites are very large, and can accommodate the largest of Motor Homes. The constant breeze from the ocean keeps things cool. My only complaint is that they charge 15 bucks per person ! 30 bucks a couple For a visit, even if that couple is just there for dinner. Seems a little excessive to me, especially for a state park. O Ya if you want a site, July, Aug and 1/2 of Sept, you need to make reservations 11 months to the minute in advance. The overflow, no utilities, is the pits!! less than 20 feet apart, gen sets running all the time, people do not use gen stacks. Field is a swamp when it rains.
